  5. What are the opening hours?

Tuesday through to Saturday from 10am-6pm.

We welcome group bookings for both our Brew Tour and VIP Tour. We can accommodate up to 20 people on the Brew Tour, and up to six on the VIP tour.

  9. Can I hold a private event at the brewery?

We’ve set out to make the venue accessible to as many people as possible. While we might take private event bookings in the future, we can’t accommodate them at the moment.

  10. Can I book a table for a pre-wedding celebration?

You’re welcome to book a table in our venue for groups of up to [insert number] people.

  11. Do you cater to dietary requirements?

We’re in the process of finalising our menu, which will cater to a wide variety of dietary requirements and preferences.

  12. When can we try your whisky?

Whisky takes a lot of time (and patience!) to mature. We began our whisky production process in 2024, and we’ll be waiting several years before it's ready to drink. Maturation can’t be rushed, and while we're keen to share our whisky with you, we won't release it until our distillers feel it's 100% ready.

  13. Is Coopers a family business?

Yes, we’re proudly family-owned and operated by the fifth and sixth generations of the Cooper family. You might even spot a Cooper on your VIP tour or behind the bar!

  14. Do you use imported products?

Except for some specialty hops, hop oils and processing aids, all the raw materials in Coopers brews are grown or produced in Australia, and our beers are made right here in Regency Park! The packaging for our core range of bottled and canned products is sourced from within Australia, too.

  15. Can I try your whisky at the brewery?

We started making whisky in 2024, and though we’re excited to share it with you, our whisky needs several more years inside oak barrels before our distillers will give us the green light.

  16. Can I do a whisky-focused tour?

Not just yet. Our whisky needs more time in oak barrels before it’s ready to taste. Your brewery tour guide can answer any questions about Coopers Whisky while we wait.

  17. What type of whisky are you making?

We’re making a single malt whisky, aged primarily in oak barrels formerly used for bourbon.

  18. Why is Coopers making a whisky?

With 162+ years of experience in malting, brewing and fermentation, distillation is our next natural step. Our whisky distillery is the only one in the world with state-of-the-art modern maltings on site, which can produce whisky malt that’s perfectly aligned with our distillers’ specifications. Together, with our famous fruity, high-ester yeast, we can craft a truly unique Australian single malt whisky – and we can’t wait to share it with you.
